Sami Publishing Company policy of Article-processing charges (APC)

The Sami Publishing Company (SPC) has started since 2017 by its self-funded independent publisher. All costs are paid by the SPC publisher.

All articles published in SPC’s Journals are immediately open access under the CC-BY license and are freely accessible for downloading and sharing. Our Journals do not impose a submission fee; however, for open access publication, authors are required to pay an article processing charge (APC).

As a self-funded independent publisher, SPC’s Journals incur costs related to the setup and maintenance of the publication infrastructure, routine operation of the journal, processing of manuscripts through peer reviews, editing, publishing, maintaining the scholarly record, and archiving. To cover these expenses, the journal relies on an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC is payable when a manuscript has undergone positive peer review and is prepared for acceptance. Apart from the APC, there are no submission charges, page charges, or color charges.

The APC payments replace subscription charges and allow publishers to make the full-text of every published article freely available to all interested readers. In addition, authors who publish in our open access journals retain the copyright of their work, which is released under a “Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY- 4.0)” enabling the unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of an article in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

It should be noted that authors can request one of the following services for their paper peer review services:

A: Regular Open Access Publication Service

As an Open Access title, publishing an article in this journal requires an Article Processing Charge (APC) that will be billed to the submitting author following acceptance. Apart from this Article Processing Charge there are no other fees (for example submission charges, page charges, or color charges). 

For regular peer review and processing according to the publication queue, from the time the paper is submitted. In this case, the Article Processing Charge for the journal is 200$ for Regular Submission,  time=3-6 Months (For Iranian Authors: 2,000,000 Toman for Regular submission, time=3-6 Months) . 

B: Fast-Track Publication Service

To facilitate a speedy turnaround when a rapid decision is required for authors, our Journals offers a fast-tracked review service that shortens the acceptance queue time.The Article Processing Charge for  Fast Tracking Peer-Reviewing =300$,  time=40-50 days (For Iranian Authors: 3,000,000 Toman,  time=40-50 days ) .
